Description
These Peonies are very special. They were brought to this country in the early 1900's from Germany by my husband's great great grandmother. These luscious peonies have been treasured and passed down to my generation and finally found their way to my garden. I had the joy of seeing them bloom for the first year and well worth the wait. I photographed them just after a rain. They were perfectly beautiful.

Many thanks to all my fellow artists for your nice comments. I just love these beautiful peonies. They're just starting to push up out of the ground now. I can't wait to see how they do this year....it's been a long winter.
