This is my very favorite Christmas Angel for the top of my tree. Every year she's the finishing touch. As I was taking pictures of the house at Christmas, I flashed one of the tree. To my surprise I had the most glorious result. It was if my angel had come alive with radiant light to annouce the birth of a baby named Jesus many years ago. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Hosanna in the Highest. May your Christmas be bright and blessed with the knowledge of this Wonderful Savior. Truly, He is the reason for the season.

Creating art is a joy for me and leaves me with a tremendous sense of fulfillment. Just the smell of oil paint evokes in me an overwhelming desire to pick up a brush. Many artists will say they lose all awareness of time once they start painting. Only until their body tells them it's time to quit, do they finally concede. I'm no different. Often, I find myself going to bed as the morning light dawns. Producing a work of art is an adventure. I have an idea where I'm headed, but it's never exactly the same as what I have pictured in my mind. Painting is a journey of learning and discovery just waiting for the outcome to be revealed.
