Description
Many years ago I had a spiritual awakening in my soul, a truly life changing moment, I often tried to imagine what it must have been like, to be in the crowd the day Jesus bore His cross after a beating & scourging that would have killed most men. He went all the way to Calvary, to the hill of Golgotha. I was inspired to write this poem as I tried to picture what the crowds beheld, as He passed by. I saw His face in my minds eye and then, it was as if, I was there. He turned His eyes and looked directly into mine, piercing my very heart. This poem has been in my writing folder for a long, long time. This last year I felt it was finally time to attempt to illustrate "that look of love" from my Savior's eyes. May you also be blessed. This is the Black & White version of "The Legacy of Love". His portrait, without the poem, will be uploaded very soon. "Please take note-Important" Because this Image has text in it, make sure when ordering that the "Image size" shows all the poem text. Some of the available sizes don't."
